For many people Margate and the surrounding towns will always be synonymous with a laid-back south coast holiday in KZN. Anchorage provides the perfect respite to make your holiday complete.

You are warmly welcomed by the caretaker who goes out of his way to ensure you have everything you need. The accommodation is clean and well-cared for making for a comfortable and convenient holiday. There is a lovely pool shared by the various guests which is so well maintained it sparkles. For families with children there is a play area as well as a bunny enclosure.

Anchorage has a prime position and is less that 1km away from the Blue Flag Manaba Beach. Despite its close proximity to one of the south coast’s busiest towns there is barely any noise. Pet lovers can also bring their dogs with by special arrangement from the owner, Angelique.

Angelique was very efficient in organising all the details which made it a hassle free holiday. We had a lovely time; our only regret was that we could not spend a longer time there.

The customers that have just been at Anchorage for 14 days just checked out. They found a baby dove while on their stay, which required multiple feedings thoughout the night and special care. The SPCA recommended BIRD RESCUE in Shelly beach, who were happy to take the baby bird, they care for then release back into natural habitat where possible. What a great service!
