We have updated two of our stops due to recent name changes.

Umtentweni Caltex will now be known as Umtentweni Astron Energy and Umtentweni JTV Centre will now be known as Umtentweni Tweni Centre.

Please note Manaba has been added to the list of stops we are not able to fulfill due to roadworks starting shortly after between Uvongo and Margate.

During this time we will have all services running the same way we run during peak holidays.

We will depart from Margate and take the toll road through from Ramsgate to Port Shepstone.

Please note as from the 2nd of October we will be unable to travel between Uvongo and Shelly Beach due to roadworks taking place.

Passengers are urged to make contact with us to arrange a different collection and drop off point, however passengers will be contacted accordingly.

During this time bookings between Uvongo and Shelly beach will be disabled on our website.

We are looking for a reliable driver to join our team residing between Uvongo and Ramsgate aged between 45 and 65 years. As a bus driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from Durban following a scheduled route and ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Your duties will include conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition and observing safety and traffic rules during the journey.

Additionally, you will be expected to communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Overall, your role as a bus driver is crucial in providing safe and reliable transportation for passengers.

Responsibilities:

•Transport passengers to and from Durban.
•Obey all traffic laws to ensure passengers arrive at their destination safely.
•Ensure the safety of all passengers when entering and leaving the bus.
•Assist passengers with getting on and off the bus as needed.
•Engage with passengers as they enter and leave the bus.
•Being attentive to traffic and weather conditions and ensuring passenger safety.
•Following the planned route and schedule for departure times and stops.

Requirements and skills:

•Able to speak and write English and Afrikaans.
•Proven work experience as a bus driver or similar role with traceable references.
•Minimum four or more years of experience working in the transport sector.
•Ability to carry out assigned routes on time.
•Must have a valid minimum C1 (code 10) driver’s license and professional driving permit.
