Our Story

A long long time ago stories of a wonderful magic world were told to children scattered around our globe. Over the decades some of these people found themselves in a little village named in the Xhosa tongue - Lubanzi describing the depth of the oceans and vast open spaces around us. More and more were drawn to the magic hills and secret beaches to wonder the animal paths through the little villages. Thatched houses dot the hills and valleys while kites and eagles soar above.

The children who went into the world to search for their tribe found themselves together on a hillside one day. They sat and watched and listened, ate and drank and danced and when the night was done and the morning sun rose... They decided to build a home for those searching the earth for a place to rest their magic upon. So was the Fastness of the Wild built, a Keep of Wine, of happiness and contemplation. The gardens of Wild were planted, the magic of seeds spread through the land. Soon forests will grow and the magic will spill over into the world around. Join us if you are so inspired.
