Quaint, cloudy and calm – this is Kaapsehoop .  Set atop a mountain pass on the Drakensberg escarpment above Nelspruit, it comes slowly into view, as if appearing out of the mists of time.

Notification - 'Bookings.com' reservations.

Kindly note that we are experiencing issues with our Bookings.com reservations.

We are unable to accept new bookings on their system. PLEASE NOTE that we do have record of all bookings confirmed for July- November 2022, we will keep the reservations unless cancelled by our guests direct. Guests who may have received a cancellation notice from 'Bookings.com', are welcome to contact us directly. We are in the process of resolving the matter.

Our establishment has been blocked on- the 'Bookings.com' platform because they "cannot verify our location" - this after we have had bookings, guest stays, return guests, reviews and payments through them for almost a year now. (Kaapschehoop does not have any postal services and we therefore cannot confirm a physical address by mail)

We are currently in the process of registering on another reservation platform, but in the meantime guests are welcome to contact us directly on WhatsApp or email [email protected] (we prefer these methods of communication in order to keep record of correspondence)

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
