In last few days Kruger has been experiencing some welcome but heavy rain. Many gravel roads and some bridges/causeways are inaccessible.

Sorry folks for the lack of content in recent months, a lot more to come but only after the new website is completed, should be in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime I'll just post a few photographs of some of the wildlife I've encountered in recent times. Here's a magnificent Buffalo bull wallowing in a mud bath close to Punda Maria, hence the name "Dagga Boys", from the Zulu word "Dagga" meaning mud. These old bulls usually spend their later years in small groups of 2 to 10 individuals, they come with a fearsome reputation and lions take cognisance of their strength and grumpy demeanour.
