TRAVEL WARNING

It was confirmed by SAPS National that there is a credible threat with regards to the closure of roads in Mpumalanga on Monday morning from 3AM. Transport companies are at serious risk.

Transport vehicles, particularly trucks should stay clear of the following roads:

From N4 Machado Toll Plaza to Nkomazi Toll Plaza
R40 from Hazyview to Hoedspruit

If you reside in or around these areas, please do not make use of these routes. Rather stay home or use alternative routes.

News Alert: FOREIGN-REGISTERED CARS NOW PAY TAXES AT ALL BORDER CROSSINGS
Nine of the country's border posts will introduce a system of charging road taxes on all light vehicles with foreign number plates entering the country.
10 dollars will be charged for each vehicle that crosses the borders of Mandimba, in Niassa province, Milange, in Zambezia, Zóbué, Cuchamano, Cassacatiza and Calomué, in Tete and Machipanda in Manica.
For the borders of Namaacha and Goba, in Maputo province, three dollars will be charged for each light vehicle.
