"Mental Toughness is aquired by doing the hard stuff before your challenge". During this years Trek4Mandela Expedition 2024, while leading an Illovo Sugar SA group to kilimanjaro, I took them to an active rest day up a hilly course. The course was tough, steep, techincal and challenging both mentally and physically. Half way Up the ridge with Kilimanjaro looking manacingly on the far right, I called the group to stop. " people, can I please ask you to listten and hear me very clearly, I want you to look at were you and what you doing right now. Impress it deel in your subconscious mind and then visuallize oyurself repeating it 10 x more, hour by hour, tomorrow night, because it will be as eqaully as tough up there as it it right now". With that I called " move it, and it is downhill, and up we climbed and then turned back and walked down to camp. I had prepared them mentally to be ready and they were.

Grit and determination is build by tackling on the impossible, when you come out the othersied, you become impossible to be stopped by anthing. !

They dream, and we help them to achieve it. Trek4Mandela Expedition 2022 was another where we helped 18 climbing enthusiasts to step up to the plate and conquer their own self doubts and limitations.

God being kind to us, we were at it again today. Delivered our signature story to a group of 30 executives and one message was shared.
You have got to counted on when it counts the most.
There can never be accountability without a sense of purpose and knowing "WHY."
It is as simple as that.

Welcoming and Appreciating the Legendary Honour by the Mpumalanga Department of Sports, Culture and Recreation during their 2021 Sports Awards.

A welcomed and appreciated gesture by the 2021 for honouring and awarding us with a trophy and a legendary certificate on recognition of our continued contribution in pioneering and inspiring mountain climbing among South Africans. Who would have thought 18 years ago when I started to climb mountains that 18 years later one would be honoured and recognized as a "Legend" of the sport which is still not yet clearly understood by many Africans.⛰
When asked by a journalist whether it had crossed my mind as a child that one day I would be referred to as a Legend of the sport of Climbing I said "not in my wildest dreams." Like any other black child I had always thought that climbing mountains was for an elite few and the most privileged, which still stands as true today because not everybody can afford such an expensive sport. It is a Social sport which you can only do just for the love of it. I am very thankful to the Mpumalanga Department of Sports, Culture and Recreation for honouring us and including mountain climbing🧗‍♂️ as a now recognized sporting code in the country among other commonly known sporting codes.
It may have taken 18 years for us to build the legendary status but we celebrate it with all grateful and humility.
I have always maintained that it takes the local people to celebrate and honour their achievers so that the outside world can join an celebrate them. Recognition and honour is all that one can get from a social sport such as mountain and which pays you nothing except inner fulfillment.

The award motivates and inspires us to keep on inspiring a generation of no limits.

We inspire greatness and a generation of no limits. Delighted to have delivered our signature talk by story telling via zoom to an international and diverse audience from World Bank.

Our message was clear, during tough and uncertain time, we need to rise up against all odd to fight the storms and conquer, just like I did on mount Everest in 2003 and again in 2005.
