How to turn an ordinary apple 🍎 into an Ayurvedic delight..or a traditional German Bratapfel (which is a winter tradition)

🍎Get the biggest and nicest apples you can find
🍎Cut a ‚lid‘ off and scoop out a bit off the inside to create a smallish hole
🍎Fill the hole with whatever you like.. e.g.:marzipan, raisins, ghee or butter, cinnamon, clove, nuts
🍎Close the lid and put the apples in a baking dish
🍎Bake the apples in the preheated oven at 170 C for about 30 min or until they are nice and soft

Enjoy as breakfast or as an afternoon snack 💫

What makes this Ayurvedic?
🪷Fruits are much easier digested when they are cooked or baked.
🪷Fruits should be eaten alone so they can be digest easily and quickly.
If they are in the stomach with other foods their digestion is delayed
Fruits ferment very quickly and if that happens in the stomach we experience gas!
🪷Lovely sweet desert style dish without proper sugar and actually healthy for you…
