OUR STORY

Hey there! Hallo! Ciao! I’m so glad you landed on our page.

My name is Nolene Ashfield and Bucket List Africa is my brainchild. It started with a dream (literally) in October 2018, which became a reality at the beginning of 2019 when I realised I wanted to show people the beauty and joy of our country (South Africa, that is) and its’ surrounds.

I’ve been in the travel industry for over 30 years (wow, that’s a long time), never once thinking of owning my own agency. But here I am, with my partner in travel and husband, Dylan doing what we love: bringing people to South Africa, so they can lose their heart to our beautiful country.

A little bit about our travel experiences? Well, we have an adopted daughter which has made family travel a necessity for us. Plus, a well deserved break now and then from parenting to escape to the breathtaking and overwhelming romantic views of South Africa (😉).
