As most of you know, Andrew, Rob Nagel and I embarked on a 3 week trip through Southern Africa on the Put Foot Rally in July. Personally, I have never really been a big "African traveller", preferring instead to go skiing and seeing the world. This trip has changed my mind! The Put Foot concept is brilliant - social, safe, charity driven and an incredible way to see Africa relatively inexpensively. Unfortunately Put Foot management are below par and we were let down by very poor pre-trip information and non-transparent charity donations - besides other issues. This did not detract from most of us still having a "once in a lifetime" experience. Hence the reason why we have started a rival version called - www.wildwheelsafrica.com. We have lots of contacts in Namibia, Zim and Botswana, and believe that we offer a far superior trip to these 3 countries.
