Meet the dynamic duo behind the amazing transformation at Netherwood farm, Rob Kleinloog and Guy van der Post.

Rob, owner of Netherwood Farm and world renowned heart surgeon, whose love for the Midlands inspired him to create an enchanting destination that beautifully showcases the region’s charm. From the breathtaking Netherwood wedding venue, cozy self-catering accommodations and the charming Blueberry cafe, his meticulous attention to detail has made Netherwood one of South Africa’s most intriguing destinations.

And say hello to Guy, a proud Michaelhouse old boy and entrepreneur, who relocated to Nottingham road in late 2023, he claims he’s never leaving! Bringing his successful business acumen from his venues across the country, his passion for entertainment has blossomed into the creation of the new Blueberry Brewery Bar and The Farmyard. Both venues Open from Friday to Sunday with the Brewery Bar featuring live music every Friday night, Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The Farmyard, an enchanting children’s haven where your kids can explore the wonders of farm life, with an indoor arts and crafts area and an outdoor entertainment offering that will keep the kids occupied and happy all day.

At Brambleberry Lodge in the peaceful KZN Midlands, a serval cat made a surprise visit. With its spotted coat and tall ears, it moved gracefully through the gardens, leaving delicate pawprints in the morning dew. Guests watched in awe as this beautiful wild cat roamed freely before disappearing back into the quiet forest.
