Day 4 on tour: What a memorable one!!! Woke up in the picturesque Louvain and after breakfast we explored what Herold had to offer. We had a mouthwatering lunch-stop at Herold Wines whereafter we explored the breathtaking Montaque Pass.
Back to Louvain where Nico Fourie visited us with his delicious wines and we enjoyed an interesting Herold Wines wine tasting and another delish Louvain dinner.
Can’t wait to see what tomorrow have in store.....

And our journey continues......... Day 3: Started off once again with a scrumptious breakfast at Redstone Hills to fuel up for the much anticipated Swartberg Pass. The tough but stunning pass and surroundings took us to the beautiful town of Prince Albert, where we enjoyed lunch at Lazy Lizzard, Prince Albert. Another scenic route took us to the valley of Meiringspoort and some time was spent at the waterfall. But the day was not done and we arrived on a high at the stunning Louvain Guest Farm, our home for the next two days. The charming Morne Jonker gave an interesting talk about the area, ostrich farming, and a few other topics whereafter we enjoyed yet another delicious dinner on the farm. Private Karoo Tour Day 2. And our journey continues:
Started the day off with a big buffet breakfast after the group's night in the stunning Queens Hotel Oudtshoorn. The two-wheelers took us via Latengansvlei and Wildehondekloof to our accommodation for the night at Redstone Hills, with a delicious lunch stop at Kruisrivier Gallery & Roger Young Studio .
After settling in at Redstone Hills an interesting Black Mountain Gin tasting were done by Dys Grundling from Grundheim Wines. A yummy leg of lamb dinner was served, a few glasses of wine were enjoyed and another day on tour ended on a high note. Day 3 will be just as exciting and beautiful with the famous Swartberg Mountain waiting on the group to be tackled......

RIP Louis Lategan.

Today we say goodbye to a truly awesome, heart of gold Dryland friend, Louis Lategan. Only 45 years young, he passed away in the early hours of this morning after a car accident. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about his passing. Our hearts go out to his family, his beautiful children and all of his friends in this sad time. RIP Louis.

Today has been another wow day on our private Dryland Ride tour. Staying at the most fabulous Bike Hotel in Grabouw, Trail's End, we headed for the trails at Oak Valley Estate Elgin, enjoyed a snack at a now famous Dryland waterpoint en route to The Pool Room Oak Valley for lunch under the oak trees and ended the afternoon off with a wine tasting at Paul Cluver Wines. Yesterday our DrylandRide private tour road led us to ’Aria Cottages after enjoying a gourmet lunch at Villamar Restaurant. The pictures of the food art says it all.
