Our Namib100 hikers find this sentiment to be true as they complete this extraordinary, world-class hike. This unique journey took them south of Walvis Bay, through the stunning, ancient dunes of the Namib Desert, along the Sandwich Harbour Lagoon, past the remains of shipwrecks scattered across the dunes, and salt plains to reach the iconic wreck of the Eduard Bohlen. To anyone who considers doing this hike: be prepared for a hiking experience second to none. Albeit physically more challenging, the gorge fully delivers on its promises offered at the start of the hike when one gazes down at it from the crest. The diversity encountered in the gorge is truly surprising. The Namib100 Hike

Live the Journey brings you the ultimate remote hike of a lifetime! This 100 km hike starts near Walvis Bay and ends at the Eduard Bohlen shipwreck. This hike is not the run-of-the-mill type of hike, but rather in the league of a bucket list hike with the likes of doing Kilimanjaro, the Grand Canyon or the Camino de Santiago. This is an ecologically unique area, and only Live the Journey as the concession holder, may offer these exclusive hikes. ‘Exclusive’ meaning that for only 6 times a year, hikers will have the privilege and permission to enter this area.
