Have you tried the wine blending experience at ? 🍷

They are an absolute hidden gem in the Winelands! They are neatly tucked between the Klein Drakenstein mountains and they have a lovely selections of wines⛰️ this is one of the few farms where you will have an interaction with the winemaker as he is very present in the tasting room.

The wine blending is one of our favourites. The owners go out of their way to make this an authentic and memorable experience. 🍇

We like to focus on making our wine tours intimate, authentic and all things local. Cyril, our tour guide, is a local in Paarl and knows the stories, the history and the people and he loves to share the culture with guests.

If you prefer less commercialised wineries and authentic sites, this experience is for you.

Not sure what’s for dinner tonight? 🍗 Enjoy our chicken & apricot glaze recipe paired with your favourite Chenin Blanc🍷 Here are a few tips to maximise your pairing experience:

Sip and Savour: Take a small sip of wine and let it coat your palate before taking a bite of food. Notice how the flavours interact. 
Balance is Key: Aim for a balance where neither the food nor the wine overpowers the other. They should complement and enhance each other. A dry Chenin Blanc can provide a crisp contrast, while a semi-sweet or off-dry version can enhance the dish’s sweetness. Choose according to your preference. 
Play with Textures: Explore contrasting or complementary textures. Chenin Blanc is typically smooth & buttery - so choose your sides to imitate the smoothness of the Chenin or to contrast it.  
Temperature Matters: Serve your Chenin Blanc wine at the chilled to maximize the tasting experience. 
Use All Your Senses: Engage your sense of smell, sight, and touch when pairing. Aromas, colours, and the feel of the food and wine in your mouth add to the enjoyment. 
Enjoy the Conversation: Wine and food pairing is a fun journey. Share your experiences around the dinner table!
