a Few days ago, just before sunset, we spotted this beautiful young male at our neighbors place.

Male lions start growing their manes around 12 - 14 months old and continue will reach full mane size around 24 - 28 months old.
But it will continue to grow darker as the male gets older.

That will make this beautiful boy around 20 months old as the mane is not fully grown yet
