Bonakude Women Shine at the Izitebele Social Runners Fun Run/Walk

On the 8th of August, 13 incredible women from laced up their running shoes to participate in the annual Fun Run/Walk event hosted by Izitebele Social Runners. Over the years, Bonakude has formed a strong relationship with the event organisers, Izitebele, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting women in all aspects of their lives—both professionally and personally.

At , we have always deeply valued the contributions of women to our company’s success, and this event was a reflection of our belief in the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. That’s why we proudly sponsored our female employees to join in this event, encouraging them to prioritise their health and well-being. Each year, we have seen an increasing number of participants from Bonakude, and this year was no exception, further reinforcing our commitment to wellness.

This event was not just about running or walking; it was about celebrating the strength, resilience, and determination of women. It provided our participants with the opportunity to network, enjoy the experience, and embrace the message that a healthy body means a healthy mind.

Bonakude was honored to be invited by Mlokothwa High School, the former school of our CEO and COO to participate in the 2024 Grade 9 and 11 Department of BCM Career Expo, alongside neighboring schools King Bhekuzulu High School, Kwaziphethe High School, Bhokwe High School, Masibhekane High School, and Kita-Kita High School.

Our Human Capital Manager, Mrs. N Mgobhozi, delivered an insightful presentation, sharing valuable information and expertise to empower Grade 9 learners making subject choices and Grade 11 students preparing for their matric year.

This invitation held special significance, as our Directors roots in Mlokothwa High School made this engagement a meaningful opportunity to give back and inspire the next generation of leaders. We are proud to contribute to shaping the future of these young minds.

Dikeledi’s journey with Bonakude exemplifies our company vision "To make a meaningful impact to our stakeholders" at every step. Our stakeholders include our employees. She joined Bonakude in June 2019 as a Consultant. Through her hard work and relentless pursuit of excellence, Dikeledi quickly progressed within the organization.

In 2021, recognizing her exceptional skills and contributions, she was promoted to Project Manager, where she continued to excel and deliver significant results. Her ability to manage projects efficiently and effectively earned her further recognition, leading to her promotion as Senior Manager. As part of this role, Dikeledi took on the responsibility of managing one of our key accounts located in Johannesburg, while overseeing operations at our Polokwane Office, which is in her home Province, Limpopo.

Most recently, Dikeledi’s journey reached another milestone as she was appointed Acting Regional Executive in our Polokwane Office. This appointment underscores not only her professional growth but also her pivotal role in driving our regional growth strategy.
