What our guests say: "My wife found this trip through TripAdvisor, and we booked it the night before we were going to do it. You meet at a small set of offices next to the beach where you get your wetsuit, flippers, snorkel, and briefing. The guide explains to you how the seals will react when you are in the water, and how you shouldn’t try and touch them, but you also shouldn’t be afraid if they gently use their mouth to feel your arms, hands, or even playfully, tug your wet suit cord.
You board a RIB and travel across Plettenburg Bay to the area that seals live next to the rocks. Initially we gently drifted amongst them as the majority were in the water sunbathing. Once we reached a clear spot we donned our flippers and entered the water, at which point, the seals were very inquisitive and swimming around us. This was a fascinating, and amazing experience."
