This Easter season in Plettenberg Bay is poised to be exceptionally busy and Plett Tourism is delighted to announce the return of two cherished events, the Plett Wine & Bubbly Festival and Buco Adventure Weekend.

Furthermore, the holiday season will host the Western Cape Adult & Youth Show Jumping Champs, the RC Gliding National Championships, Konco Sports Tournament, Plett Surf Lifesaving Carnival, the SA Polo Open, and a thrilling international polo match between South Africa and Argentina. Additional show jumping and polo events are scheduled, along with a variety of music performances at popular venues.

The atmosphere in Plett is summery, with a more relaxed seaside vibe.

Located on the banks of the Bitou River, this beautiful lodge is surrounded by the peace and tranquility of nature. It is modern and tastefully furnished throughout and has wonderful outdoor spaces and entertainment areas to relax and enjoy alfresco dining, lounging by the pool or enjoying the sound of the birds while drifting off on a hammock. The main house has three spacious bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely dining area with a fireplace and a comfortable lounge and bar area where views of the river can be enjoyed. Enjoy stunning views of Robberg Peninsula and the bay from this gorgeous villa. It is modern and tastefully furnished throughout and has been designed for easy living and entertaining. The downstairs living areas are light and bright and flow out to the patio and pool where views of the ocean and Robberg Peninsula can be admired while soaking up the sun. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped, easy to prepare meals while enjoying the view through the large serving window. On this level there are three beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms which all lead out to the garden. The upstairs level has an additional kitchen and open plan living area with spectacular views from the bar and dining area. This is a wonderful space to kick off your shoes, relax and enjoy sundowners after a day out. There are two bedrooms on this level, including the spacious master bedroom which leads to a patio overlooking the bay. This home is superb and is ideally situated just a short drive to the shops, restaurants and beaches.

Beachy Head is the place to be when staying in Plett! This sought after location is popular as Beachy Head road runs parallel to the popular Robberg Beach. Beachyhead 61 is therefore in a wonderful location with beach access just across the road. Spend leisure time on the beach and then just walk back to the villa to lounge in the pool courtyard. Downstairs are the four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The two front bedrooms and TV lounge open onto the deck. There is a lovely courtyard with swimming pool and deck on the same level as the bedrooms. Upstairs is a super open plan living area with front and back patio. Kalu House is the epitome of luxury. The sophistication is set in a background of peace and tranquility – away from the crowds and secluded in nature. And yet it is conveniently close to restaurants and shops. This exclusive villa is in a small secure estate on the edge of the beautiful Keurbooms lagoon. Bordering the estate is the Goose Valley golf course and a pristine nature reserve with its indigenous fynbos and abundant birdlife. Within walking distance are a tidal lagoon and beautiful beaches. Plettenberg Bay is on South Africa’s Garden Route and is 210 km from Port Elizabeth and 600 km from Cape Town. There are five wood-burning fireplaces in the house, and they are complemented by underfloor heating throughout. Kalu House is as much a summer getaway as it is a winter one. The owners are collectors of antiques, interesting artifacts, furniture, and art that they have gathered in their travels. Kalu House has ten spacious luxury suites that can accommodate up to 20 people in absolute comfort. And for those days that you do not go down to the lagoon or nearby beaches, there is a solar-heated swimming pool and a relaxing heated spa pool. The villa is self-catering and features a world-class gourmet kitchen with a dining table that can seat 20 people comfortably. The family room and entertainment area are for the relaxation and enjoyment of the entire family. Mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains, lagoon, and ocean can be enjoyed from the rooftop terrace bar with its African boma (fire pit). There is also a formal lounge for entertaining. The games room has a full-size snooker table and table tennis. There is, of course, Wi-Fi throughout the house.
