What an amazing four days on the river with the most wonderful @greenwoodbaycollege matriculants who had completed their exams, and now completed their gold @thepresidentsawardsa adventurous journey.
We explored the waterways of Plettenberg Bay by canoe admiring their differences, and the varied plant and wild life in particular the birds.

We were privileged to take a wonderful German client on a private guided hike on a very special trail.
This magical trail with an enchanted forest and mermaid pools starts at the beautiful @belle_balance_ and meanders through the forest and mountains with a lovely view of the Keurbooms river.
We never get tired of this secret trail.

@wildcompassexperiences had the privilege of taking the @greenwoodbaycollege students out and about into nature alongside @wildoriginsjourneys.
We created a bespoke foraging experience through the forest and along the coastline of @foresthallestate. Students not only had a great hike, swimming in rock pools but also learnt about plants and mostly edible plants in the area, sustainable foraging practices and got to eat a delicious meal that they foraged.

That was a fun 10 days, the results were amazing. @wildcompassexperiences were part of a much larger team of companies that created an amazing 5 star lodge and event experience in the wild and remote Baviaanskloof. Tents had on sweat bathrooms, hot showers, electric blankets, morning coffee deliveries and the most luxurious beds.
Guests would emerge from their tents to be welcomed to a large fire, moer coffee, and a stunning breakfast spread.
The day was filled with activities such as mountain biking, kayaking, fishing and 4x4ing.
After a long day there is nothing like a gin and tonic around the fire before a three course meal mostly cooked in a fire adding to the theatrics and experience of the wild African evenings.
All this was to show the true capabilities of the Inios quartermaster and grenadier.
A big thank you to all involved in this top end bespoke wild experience in the baviaanskloof.

Super excited to give you all a sneak peak of our next exciting offer.
And a bit of a background story.
We purchase some old canoes that were in extreme disrepair and were destined for a rubbish dump. After loads of research and talking to all our contacts we connected with stanleyptruby who is an accomplished woodworker with a passion for canoes (he has built his own strip wood canoes from scratch).
Together we refurbished these beautiful boats, sourced life jackets, designed and made paddles, and painstakingly searched for the right accessories. These accessories had to match the aesthetics yet be highly functional, safe, robust, waterproof and add benefit to the paddler.
Once it was all complete and put together we needed SAMSA approval, registration and licensing.
That was successfully achieved.

Day trips will be available on the Garden Route on either the keurbooms river or Bitou river with an over night option on both.
