Good Morning South Africa!
The Maletsunyane waterfall located in the southern part of Lesotho, drops 192m over a ledge of Triassic-Jurassic basalt. The falls are fairly easy to get to from nearby Semongkong which translated into English means Place of Smoke - a reference to the mist and spray produced by the falls.

There is good accommodation at Semongkong Lodge where you can book a horse ride from the lodge to the waterfall as an unforgettable outing.

If you’re brave you can tackle the highest commercial abseil in the world to the foot of the falls. It’s a certified Guinness World Record.
