What a splendid weekend it was 😍We hiked our 1,5km to dokolewa pools hut at night and realised in the morning that we forgot some drinks at the cars 🤣we had to hike back to fetch them and come back for the hike 😭🤣🤣
We started journeying through the magoebaskloof forest and it was one of the most beautiful things to experience 😍 the river streams, pine trees,coming across a snake(I will get to that), the part where we thought it’s 1,5km left turned into a whole extra hour 🤣🤣🤣😭 all we wanted was to bath, braai and sleep afterwards ….woke in the morning and the weather was not looking too good given that it’s very slippery on sunny weather conditions we decided to ditch the drizzling hike for our own safety by taking the staff bus back and that was a whole new experience on its own 🤣🤣🤣we were almost like high school kids going on a school excursion 😭🤣🤣 We made a stop on our way home to @zwakalabrewery in haenertzburg and that was the best decision ever ❤️🥲🔥🔥
Ohhh the snake story??? So we got lost and we were moving very fast while talking, one of us was behind taking pictures but he is a guide as well so it was safe,unaware of this we continued hiking and laughing till we bumped into a snake not sure if it was a Natal green snake or a boomslang 🤔 so we stopped and tried to make vibration on the ground in hopes that it will move away but guess what ?? It didn’t 😩😩 now we talking on how we will handle this then boom we hear @neo_norman calling us saying we are lost because where he is he sees markings yet we don’t see markings only a path 😝 after him saying that the snake just randomly decided to move away after a whole 5mins of us waiting for it to move 😭😭😭 but we thought what better way to stop people from getting lost further than having a snake in your way 🥺🙏🏽
