SOUTH AFRICANS travelling to Ireland now need a visa as from 10 July 2024.

Immediate Impact: Any clients travelling to Ireland from 10 July 2024 onwards will need to obtain a visa before departure. Transitional Period: For clients with bookings made before 10 July 2024, and travelling before 9 August 2024, they can still travel without a visa. However, they must present proof of purchase from their carrier (not a travel agent) alongside their valid passport. No Waivers: Carriers are unlikely to offer waivers due to this change, so immediate action is crucial.
