We often refer to roundabouts as “traffic circles”. However, a roundabout is a type of larger circular intersection that gives way to traffic that is approaching from the right. While a traffic circle should be treated like a four-way stop, apply 'first come, first served.' If vehicles arrive at the same time, yield to the right.
