This project extends from Bezuidenhout River to the intersections of the R336 and R335 near Addo.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

Pavement Layer Repairs on the N1 Section 20 Northbound at km 36.0 – km 42.0

Gauteng, 4 July 2025- The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) would like to notify road users that pavement layer repairs will be done on the N1 national road section 20 at km 36.0 – km 42.0.

The repairs will require shifting of traffic on the northbound carriageway (from Malibongwe Interchange to Winnie Mandela Interchange) from the two slow lanes to two fast lanes. The traffic shift is currently planned to occur from 9am to 3pm on the 5 July 2025 to 10 July 2025.
