Explore Africa Adventures is a privately owned safari enterprise specializing in 4X4 Self Drive Safaris to Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania and Botswana.

The company was founded by Andre van Vuuren in 1997. Leaving behind the world of commerce, he very quickly stamped his professional mark on guided overland safaris.He is registered with Field Guides of Southern Africa (FGASA) as well as a 4X4 Trails and Overland Guide with the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism. Andre is co-author of the publication "Top 20 4X4 Overland Trails of Sout

hern Africa", he is a concervationist, a businessman and a man with a soft spot for Africa's biggest mammal.......the elephant. Explore Africa Adventures is one of the highly experienced Tour Operators entrusted by The Adventure Motoring Magazine; Leisure Wheels, to do a selected range of safaris for them.

Good day. The game is on, lots of it. We leave on 14 July 24 for an epic 40day self-drive African safari, including Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania. The highlight of the safari is to experience the millions of Wildebeest crossing the Mara rive in the northern part of the Serengeti. Lake Malawi, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Victoria as well as Lake Tanganyika is on route. This is a once in a lifetime.
