"Dear Believers,

As we gather in prayer for South Africa during this crucial time of elections, let us draw strength and inspiration from the wisdom of Scripture.

In Philippians 2:2-3, we are reminded, 'Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.' Let us embody this spirit of unity and humility as we intercede for our nation.

Proverbs 11:14 tells us, 'Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.' Let us pray for our leaders to seek wise counsel and guidance, leading our nation with integrity and righteousness.

And in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, we are instructed, 'First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.'
