The Cornerstone is a home where extended families are formed across all nations

The Cornerstone Lodge is not just another guesthouse but indeed a home that offers you a truly tranquil and private stay. Our home is dedicated to my husband Fritz, who was a cornerstone in so many lives and in particular, mine. He was my mentor and taught me the wonder of giving. When people who are right for one another build dreams together, their shared joy is enormous and we both looked forward to the new horizons we were yet to share with our terrific guests from all over the world.

Cornerstone Lodge is situated in a very central area in the east of Pretoria and although we are close to all the main attractions in and around Pretoria, you can often hear the quiet of the night. The original house was built in the early 1970’s and then purchased by us in 1997. At first it was just a dream to convert our home into a guesthouse, but it soon became a reality. We were able to start with the project to change our home into a great guesthouse, where we could share the special atmosphere of the house with others. In 2002, we started renovations and have to date not yet done all we plan to do, but we did officially open the Guest Lodge in June 2003
