As a conservationist with years of experience in this field and having seen a lot of things happening in conservation circles I have came to the conclusion that the only way for us to conserve wildlife in Africa is for wildlife to pay its way. It is maybe not the ultimate answer but I am convinced that it is the way to go. I have seen firsthand the slaughter committed by poachers and I believe a poacher should be shot on sight. If you see the suffering that these sad excuses for a human, causes you will certainly agree with me that these idiots do not have a right to life.
I have also seen and have been involved in culling operations myself. I have been a hunter before but I never saw culling as hunting. I certainly understand why culling of certain species are necessary. In this not a perfect world it is the only way to control the numbers of wildlife in small areas.
Thus ethical hunting does have a place in the management of wildlife. I strongly abhor the so called canned hunting practices.
I have decided to expand African Boma Tours into also offering hunting safaris. Please note it will only be ethical hunting.
For those animal lovers that will want to attack me, please understand that I probably love all animals more than any of you. I hate cruelty to any animal. So do not even try to attack me as I have done more for wildlife in my life than a lot of you. I will just delete and block you from my profile.
