Yes, we have just completed another successful tour to the Wild Coast. Our country South Africa just stays the best regarding beautiful places to visit. Not the best time to visit the Eastern Cape area but neverless. Windy weather, sunny weather, cold weather, lovely weather, and the unexpected. The last night we experienced the most perfect evening for a camp braai. We desided to hit the sack early because the next morning we will have a long journey home. 22h00 all hell broke loose. "Die nag van die Tor" As one of our tourmembers went to bed, out of nowhere a beetle desided to make his landing strip directly into the man's left ear and emediately started to dig deeper into this cave. Needles to say have you ever seen a man turning a caravan upside down when an insect is busy digging himself deeper and deeper. We needed to kill the intruder without damaging the victim's eardrum ourselves or allowing the beetle to do so. Remember! Oil preferbly not motor oil. After a pint or two the job was done. Now to get the intruder out. With no avail, a decision was made. East London is our destination, Emergency Services at the Hospital. 85km's of dark narrow winding road at 23h30 is not fun. 3hours later to be told the bug can only be removed by a specialist, and that needs to be done at the consultancy room the next day 08h00. All the way back to camp arriving 02h30. 3hours later back to East London. What a day what a night and what a zomby of a day the nexy day.
