The improvements in the kitchen and lounge include a fresh coat of paint, a black coffee table, and blinds and a pelmet in the kitchen in place of the curtains. We opted to stay with the crisp white walls. The next phase is to introduce some pictures on the long wall.

We received such a lovely review from our German guests. 💙🇩🇪💙
While they were here, they visited Lake Eland, a nearby game reserve in Oribi Gorge. We loved hearing about their adventure, including all the animals they saw. Closer to home, while walking on the Ramsgate Ramble, they saw dassies. They were fascinated by the little brown fuzzballs lazing in the sun on the rocks. They also loved that they could walk on our sandy beaches barefooted and dip their toes in "warmer" sea water.
It was so refreshing to be reminded of the beauty of our country through their experiences.
Let's hope their review encourages other international peole to visit us. We can't wait to host more visitors from overseas! 😁

⚠️What colour walls?⚠️
We'll be closed from Monday 27 November to Sunday 3 December for a BIG upgrade 😁
We're having the old wooden window frames replaced with brown aluminium and then painting the whole apartment.
What colour should we paint?
Maybe an accent wall or two?
Should we hang some pictures?

Our long weekend guests travelled through the night to check in early this morning. They ordered a "full house" breakfast to enjoy on their arrival. As usual, the view is putting on a grand show!

Rolien and Johan, a young couple from Pretoria, spent a long weekend here and enjoyed breakfast on our sea-facing patio every morning. The beautiful photos of their breakfast view are in our last post. On Saturday morning, while they were munching on French toast and bacon, a large pod of dolphins swam past! How lucky are they?!

Ramsgate is beautiful at this time of the year. It's still warm, but not crazy hot n humid, and the wind seems to have eased off a little.
This evening's sunset reflected a pink tinge on the sea (zoom in on the left of the photo).
How beautiful is this view?
