𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 & 𝐒𝐩𝐚 – 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 / 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲

We are looking for a dynamic Receptionist / Night Auditor to join our team.

Job Overview:

Receptionists are responsible for checking guests in and out, answering any enquiries, both face-to-face and via telephone, and liaising with all other teams in the hotel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Present an appropriate image for the organisation and deal competently with the people and problems you may encounter
Work outside of normal hours, including weekends and evenings
Greet guests and telephone callers to find out the nature of their enquiry in keeping with our Company Customer Service Standards
Operate telephone switchboards and consoles to connect, hold, transfer, and disconnect telephone calls
Provide information to assist guests or refer them to appropriate contacts, either in the organisation or elsewhere
Arrange appointments for callers or for people working in the organisation and keep records of these
Carry out word-processing, filing and mail-outs, as required
On occasion, receive payments and order stationery and office supplies
Process all incoming mail and organise outgoing and posting mail
Make reservations, check guests into and out of the hotel, ensuring all the information required is gathered
Give information on facilities available and advise visitors about places of interest
Ensure all bills are correct and paid in full on checkout
Assist in the promotion of products and give prices and details to customers
Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Management Team

* The successful candidate will be required to train for Night Audit as well to assist if needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good communication skills
Ability to work accurately and neatly
Good organisational skills
Ability to work without supervision and with initiative
Good presentation and a pleasant manner
Good PC Skills, including Word, Excel and reservations systems
