We were truly lucky to have an amazing group of riders who embraced the adventure at every turn. Zimbabwe gifted us with breathtaking scenery, wonderful venues, and welcoming hosts. The riding was spot on, with roads delivering smiles the entire way. We were blessed with two incredible wildlife encounters: watching herds of elephants devour oranges by the ton, little baby ellies scurrying about, and, in the Matopos, standing just 5 meters from a white rhino calf as it suckled from its mother. These unforgettable moments were the cherry on top for our guests. 🍒🐘🦏

As we crossed into Botswana, the heat joined us, making the night on the salt pans even more memorable. It’s one of those places where words can’t quite do it justice – a uniquely magical experience we love sharing. Then came an extra sprinkle of adventure, with wild camping under the stars after not quite making it to Kubu Island. The warmth and hospitality of the Batswana people are a big part of why we keep returning.

Nine days of riding and adventure, with friendships forged along the way. We absolutely can’t wait to head back next year! 🌅🏞️

I've always found these tortoises intriguing to watch - it like a mini dinosaur just plodding along minding their own business. Very important to keep an eye out for these guys and other criters when out in the bush.

Ride Report Zim/Bots: Zimbabwe has a very special place in my heart, as a youngster I spent many a holiday in Zim but as things changed we travelled up less and less. I have been adament to head back on a bike and see what it is like and if its feasible to take people into Zim on tours. We planned a 10 day reccie exploring the western side of Zim on the way up and coming back on the eastern side of Bots. Unsure what to expect we headed out on the 21st of March ready for an adventure.

And what an adventure we had. Zimbabwe delivered a remarkable experience that we cannot wait to share with you. More to follow!
