We were truly lucky to have an amazing group of riders who embraced the adventure at every turn. Zimbabwe gifted us with breathtaking scenery, wonderful venues, and welcoming hosts. The riding was spot on, with roads delivering smiles the entire way. We were blessed with two incredible wildlife encounters: watching herds of elephants devour oranges by the ton, little baby ellies scurrying about, and, in the Matopos, standing just 5 meters from a white rhino calf as it suckled from its mother. These unforgettable moments were the cherry on top for our guests. πππ¦
As we crossed into Botswana, the heat joined us, making the night on the salt pans even more memorable. Itβs one of those places where words canβt quite do it justice β a uniquely magical experience we love sharing. Then came an extra sprinkle of adventure, with wild camping under the stars after not quite making it to Kubu Island. The warmth and hospitality of the Batswana people are a big part of why we keep returning.
Nine days of riding and adventure, with friendships forged along the way. We absolutely canβt wait to head back next year! π
