Recently visited this amazing recycle project on Gaanbaai run by Jessica Smith of White Shark Projects. The kids collect bottles, tins, and plastic. Once a week, they get goodies and a cup of soup Hero Holidays would like to start this at our various projects in Joburg.

Did you know that on this day, 35 years ago, Former President Nelson Mandela was released unconditionally from prison? We commemorate this day as a reminder of the great sacrifices that were made by Tata Madiba and so many liberation heroes who fought to bring equality to our country. It is imperative that we band together to stand up for democracy and our own rights as citizens. We must play our part as we are responsible for creating a brighter legacy for future generations. It starts with you and I.
