The Lake St Lucia estuary this afternoon on the high tide. Large, powerful swell pushing alot of water up the mouth and into the Lake and Umfolozi river channel. Large swell is also pushing the bank opposite the mouth inwards narrowing the mouth considerably. The channel only 10m across but still deep. With large swell predicted for the upcoming week the mouth will do well to stay open. Will have to wait and see.
