1. Could you describe your current role and responsibilities as an intern?
My role as an intern is Quality control.

2. What has been the highlight of your internship experience so far?
The highlight of my internship so far has been the sight inspections I've attended so far.

3. What skills or knowledge have you gained that you are most?
I have Quality control checking skills, which has enhanced my observation and concentration skills.

4. What are your goals and objectives for the remainder of your internship?
My goal is to do my work to the best of my ability.

5. What do you enjoy most about working with the GoVacation Africa team?
I enjoy working with my team members the most, they have made this experience more enjoyable and memorable for me.

Meet Moesha Ngwenya: Our intern.

We caught up with Moesha, asking her a few questions to better understand her progress and experiences at GoVacation Africa.

1. Could you describe your current role and responsibilities as an intern?

My current role as an intern is to assist the operations team, as I am at Operations Support what I do is, quality control. I recheck my consultants' booking so they be at their top service rendered to clients and agents. I book excursions Franschhoek Wine Tram, Robben Island Museum, Table Mountain Cableway, Five Shy Meekets etc.

2. What has been the highlight of your internship experience so far?

Highlights of my Internship would be product knowledge and the Educational experiences, I recently visited the Federal Air Lounge and we saw their charters, it was amazing.

3. What skills or knowledge have you gained that you are most?

I'd saying booking excursions, this has helped me a lot and will help also on my future career. Doing QC also because it has helped me to focus on paying attention to details even the smallest and communicate to suppliers too.

4. What are your goals and objectives for the remainder of your internship?

Doing QC, to the best of my knowledge and ability.

5. What do you enjoy most about working with the GoVacation Africa team?

They are humble, loving, caring, and amazing humans at best. They motivates one to be the best version of themselves.

We caught up with Bianca, asking her a few questions to better understand her progress and experiences at GoVacation Africa.

1. Could you describe your current role and responsibilities as an intern?

As an intern, my initial responsibility was to train the new UJ student, on our team, on the tasks that I do. Over time, my role expanded to include pick-ups and drop-offs, prepayments, and preparing Welcome Packs for Joburg, Cape Town, and Port Elizabeth. I also assist with blocking dates for properties under contract. Thankfully, I have a supportive team that guides me through any challenges.

2. What has been the highlight of your internship experience so far?

The highlight of my internship has been working with the team. They're incredibly encouraging, motivating, and understanding. Being part of this team has brought me immense joy and comfort, and I'm grateful for their support.

3. What skills or knowledge have you gained that you are most excited to apply in your future career?

I've developed greater patience with others and myself. I've also learned the value of teamwork and asking for help when needed. Additionally, I've improved my efficiency under stress.

4. What are your goals and objectives for the remainder of your internship?

My goal is to continue growing within the company, learning new concepts, and expanding my understanding of the industry.

5. What do you enjoy most about working with the GoVacation Africa team?

I appreciate the team's welcoming and friendly nature. They're approachable, easy to talk to, and great to work with.
