School Holiday Transport

School Holiday Transport Our objective is to provide a safe and reliable long distance transport for children more especially during school holidays, e.g. Joburg - Newcastle.

Being a parent nowadays has become more complex than before and for those parents who live and work in the big cities (such as Johannesburg, Durban, etc.) it is even more complex. Balancing our hectic careers and parenting has always been a challenging journey that we must travel together with our children. During a school calendar most of us we have got things figure out as far taking care of our

children and still be able to fulfil our career ambitions. For example you probably have a transport that takes your child to and fro to school, or you probably drop off and pick up your child yourself, when he/she gets home there probably your helper waiting for her or he/she goes to aftercare until you pick him/her up, whichever case may be the fact of the matter is that you have this thing figured out and it works for both you and your child. The issues arise when its school holidays and your helper also wants to take some time off …now who do you leave your child with? Most parents normal take their children to their grandparents and you are lucky if your parents are at most 100km from where you live. For most of us we must drive 300km or more to our parent’s home and that is just going there you must still drive the same distance coming back. As if that is not hectic enough, when schools reopen you must do this trip again to go pick your child. With the tough economic times, high inflation, weak Rand, struggling economy, interest hikes and the ever increasing fuel price as well as our demanding careers …for how long can we sustain above modus operandi? I guess with limited choices at our disposal or rather no choices all at we just have to hang in there. But not anymore School Holiday Transport is your solution. Our vision is to provide a safe and reliable long distance transport for your child.

Tomorrow is the beginning of school holidays, and some of the fortunate parents will also be taking their annual leave as from tomorrow or some time next week .... well if you belong in this category of parents then your child is fortunate as you will be spending the school holidays together.

However, those of us who are not so fortunate we can only be able to take annual leave much later say a week or 2 weeks from now and some are not taking leave at all.
If you belong in this category of parents, please tell us.... who do you leave your children with when you are at work and they are on their school holidays?

I know most of us are probably taking our children to their grandparents and in most cases this is in the different province or a significant number of kilometers from where we stay. If you are part of this group of parents please tell us about your experience....
1) How did you transport your child to grandparents?
2) How long is distance from where you live?
3) If grandparents lives on the different province from you?

We are appreciate your feedback!
