We have been very busy here at Derwent House! In between all our lovely guests staying we have been making lots of improvements, from insulating the Cabin roof and putting in new flooring to setting up our new inverter! So now Derwent House will mean load shedding and power cuts will not impact your holiday with us! We still have some availability over Christmas and New Year so please send a message if you are looking for a lovely relaxing break over the holidays.

Derwent House is now fully up and running and open for guests. We have Derwent House (sleeps 5), Ted's Shed (sleeps 2) and Fishermans Rest (Sleeps 3) Available to be booked as a whole or as 1, 2 or 3 separate units. Ready for the imminent sardine run and any last minute holidays. Please get in touch for further information, rates and availability. Pet friendly holiday accommodation close to the beach. With a fresh look to our Cabin 'Ted's Shed' and 'Fisherman's Rest' we are ready to welcome guests again.
The Cabin, 'Ted's Shed', a lovely log cabin with sea views from the deck, perfect for a Braai and Sundowners. Ted's Shed sleeps 2 with its own bathroom and kitchenette.
New to 2024!
'Fisherman's Rest' A Lovely room off the main veranda adjacent to Ted's Shed. Perfect to fit in extra guests and children staying at Ted's Shed. Fisherman's Rest sleeps 3 and has its own shower room with direct access onto the veranda. Please note it does not have its own indoor cooking facilities but does have use of the undercover veranda including the Braai and fire pit areas.
With weekend rates starting from R500 per night for Ted's Shed and R250 per night for Fisherman's Rest.
Perfect for holidays with family and friends, fishing and diving trips or just a relaxing getaway to the coast.
