On an exploratory trip last year, our team identified a new spot to encounter and study Great White Sharks at remote islands miles off the coast off Yarmouth.
We are excited to further explore this spot in fall 2025, providing guests with the unique opportunity to join our research team and cage dive for science.

Atlantic Shark Expeditions is authorized to conduct scientific research with Great White Sharks via a permit by the Canadian Government under the Species at Risk Act. Through this research, ecotourists have the privilege of joining our researchers on boat-based expeditions to search for great white sharks, view sharks from the boat and/or underwater from the cage, learn from the research team, and observe scientific activities.
