The Mananga Background
Josie and Grant have been living in Skukuza Staff Village, Kruger National Park (KNP) since 2004. Grant is employed with South African National Parks as a Helicopter Pilot.
We have two children who are growing up in the Kruger National Park, Madison and Keagan. Mananga adventure began for us as a way to possibly derive an income for our children's schooling later in life.
The house was built with as much local goods and services as possible with the aim of space for guests. All the wood is handcrafted by Grant & Josie on site at the house. This includes the kitchen tops, island, coat rack, TV stand, bookshelf, patio table, lounge tables, bedroom beds, side tables, head boards, vanity tables etc.
