3days to go until this Last Thursday of September, we will be spending the evening around the fire with Chef Noni, as we host another amazing 🔥

Chef Noni is an Indigenous Food Specialist. She is a healer, a teacher, an events coordinator and facilitator. She is a founder of Plugndigenous Creation, reconnecting people and food. She uses grains of our early indigenous people for healing. Her Fire Food Experience has been activating indigenous knowledge systems with both local and global communities. Working with youth and securing our original foods through the art of foraging and identifying lost foods and medicine in the urban setting.

Noni founded Emandulo Livity to restore the ancient balance between man and nature. She is also one of the leading chefs at FERL (Food Evolution Research Lab), a team at UJ (University of Johannesburg) that focuses on ready to eat indigenous concepts.

Our upcoming Storytelling is a unique experience to explore Your Heritage through Noni’s wisdom. Make sure to book in for the dinner, as we will be having the privilege to taste some of her food creations. We can’t wait to have you with us around the fire!

Join us and NOSH Food Rescue NPC as we prepare you a Meal With Meaning 🥘 💚 A gastronomic experience with a difference served in the beautiful green outdoors of our Outdoor Restaurant.

You'll be treated to a spectacular three-course meal expertly prepared from salvaged and rescued foodstuffs that would otherwise have gone to waste.

You will see that that even unloved produce, in the hands of inspired, skilled, and talented culinary professionals, can absolutely shine and delight! The culinary team will be led by Chef Sbuda of the Culinary Passions School of Hospitality, assisted by our enthusiastic Team Lebo's

What a successful day we had this past Saturday under the theme of Art, Responsible travel and Entrepreneurship 🙌🏿

We were honoured to host day 2 of the Artventurous conference curated by Maboneng Township Arts Experience . A progressive concept for budding arts and travel entrepreneurs. We got to check out and support local brands, there was a beautiful display of artpieces and some new cool graffiti was created in the park.

We are honoured and proud to support Women Owned Businesses 👊🏿

Tsholofelo Gaechose is an entrepreneur doing Agribusiness, supplying us with the freshest veggies. She exclusively sources from strictly Organic Small Scaled Local farmers, encouraging environmentally sustainable farming in our communities.

Now a mother of three, her entrepreneurial journey started 7years ago when she left insurance business to start farming. She signed up at Emdeni Skills Development Centre for a year acquiring new knowledge on permaculture and hydroponics and that’s how Kutasari was born.

Kutasari is an Agribusiness she started inspired by small farmers mainly in Soweto, who were producing wonderful crops but struggled with accessing the market. She started an ecosystem which connects people, farmers and food. Working with local farmers, buying and assisting with formalising their businesses and also offering delivery services directly to customers - Farm to Fork. Kutasari delivers in JHB and PTA and all the places in between!

Tsholofelo also co-founded a women-only Co-operative 'Mutahad Waste' which focuses on horticulture and waste management in Soweto. She was fortunate to have been selected as 2022 GIBS-Corteva exposing her to endless possibilities in Agriculture.

Zu. was born at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, grew up in Kensington Johannesburg. It is in this buzzing City of Gold, Johannesburg that she fell in love with the creative industries from being exposed to theatre arts. She started her 16years journey of music performance and storytelling and never stopped since.

After matric, Zu. started her first band. She went on to work as a puppeteer and then a voice-over artist. She did sports editing for SABC (South African Broadcasting Corporation) for 11 years, working on all kinds of sports news for live broadcast. She is indeed a well-rounded creative.

We are so exciting to close off with you around the bonfire 🔥
