I've been quiet and that's because the airbnb has been quite busy these last few months. We have been very lucky to have guests stay the whole of February and in March and April we had a lot of one or two night stays. So no time to take new photos. 😕 But I'm not complaining! I'm loving the fact that things are picking up again after lockdown and that the beaches are full of happy people and their happy dogs again. 😊🏖️🐕🌊

I'm not sure I've shown you this angle before. We've had quite a few guests staying over after we have finished the renovation, and I'm happy to say that they all had only good things to say about the new bathroom. And we've gotten great reviews as well. I don't know about you, but I'd call that a success. 😉 When they are happy, I'm happy!

Where we live, our bathroom light is a ceiling fitting situated behind you when looking at the mirror, and I've always struggled with that. Don't you also find it irritating not really being able to see yourself in the mirror? 😉 When we had the opportunity of redoing the bathroom at our holiday apartment, we designed the space to have a light fitting right next to the mirror. This is soooo much better, believe me. You can actually see your face! You also don't want light from straight above, as your forehead will throw shadows on the lower part of your face. 😕 For me, on the side of the mirror is always best.

We added a headboard in the main bedroom. I figured the new comfy bed needs to be complimented with a new comfy headboard. Hopefully this is something that guests will appreciate. :) We're preparing for the busy season. Walking along the beach this morning, we can already see and feel the summer holiday vibes starting here in Strand. I love it!
