Self Catering Studio
The Lark @ De Weiglhuys Farm is an Open-Plan Self-Catering Studio with its own private entrance, covered patio and enclosed garden. The Studio is located on a working farm, just 7.3 km from Tulbagh town, the farm entrance is centred between the 2 Tulbagh town entrances.
The Studio can accommodate up to 2 guests, contains a double bed, a shower en-suite with a toilet, a washbasin, and an alley-style kitchenette. The kitchenette is simplistic but well-equipped with a microwave, bar fridge, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. There is a ceiling fan for the hot summer days and an electric heater/electric heating blankets for the cold winters. You also have access to Wi-Fi and Open-View TV.
The Covered patio offers a 4-seater table and chairs to enjoy dining outside. There is also a bench to relax on. The rustic small garden has a cold water shower for the summer, and a cosy fire pit for the traditional South African braai. Starter wood is supplied.
We have resident farm dogs and cats. If you're lucky, you will hear and spot our white barn owl that resides in one of the old water tanks on a tower. You will definitely hear the roosters in the morning hours.
