The NMBSTC exhibited at the Intaba Ka Vuba Development Foundation Career Expo for Grades 9-12 at Babs Madlakane Hall, Kwa-Nobuhle. The Centre shared insights with Grade 9 learners on STEMI careers. Other companies that participated in the event included FNB Uitenhage, Algoa Flying Club, Nelson Mandela University Faculty of Education, Rosebank College, and the Eastern Cape Department of Education

The NMBSTC visited Mthonjeni Primary School in Kwa-Nobuhle for the STEMI Club programme. For the SA Lego League the learners were introduced to number patterns which is fundamental to robotics and coding.

The Centre attended training conducted by the Department of Education where educators were informed about Mother Tongue Based Bi/multilingual Education (MTBBE). Primary school educators were encouraged to use MTBBE as a Language of Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LOLTA). Yesterday the Centre also presented at the Gr 8 & 9 educators subject meeting where educators were reminded about the mediation of annual teaching plans, lesson planning, assessments, resuscitation of professional learning communities and other subject related issues.
