Swift Travel was established in 1994 as a (PTY) LTD, there were two Directors Mrs Nonceba Thom and Mrs Pumla Douglas, the aim was to run with the vision of providing the specialized service of a Travel Agency in our country especially in our city. The only present member is Mrs N Thom (Noni) now joined by her husband Mr L Thom (Levy) which makes this a family business. Noni was previously employed
by the now defunct Transkei Airways - Transkei Travel as a Ground Hostess, Travel Consultant and Travel Manager. Whilst Transkei Airways existed, they assisted Swift Travel in providing with airline tickets. In 1997 Swift Travel obtained the required Travel Agents licence from the International controlling body International Air Transport Association (IATA). This licence was later withdrawn due to financial constraints caused through lack of support and understanding of Travel Agents activities by our then customers. Now our company is in good financial standing and we have been accredited in the 24 October 2010. In an effort to promote tourism and general love for our Province and beloved country Sout Africa, we are in an endeavour to open branches in and around the Eastern Cape. We are pleased to announce the first branch has been opened in what we believe is the capital town for tourism for the Eastern Cape which is Grahamstown. Our Vision
