How I long to be in our magical mountains at this time, sadly not this year. Instead I took a trip down memory lane & pulled out some pics through the years around Easter (please forgive the amateur quality these are all about the memories). Our Drakensberg Gardens Hotel experiences began when my mom was 16 (she is now 70). 2 Kids & 7 Grandkids later each one of us has had the privilege of a lifetime of memories there, of course it’s very different now & we have migrated from staying in the hotel, to owning timeshare, to now being the proud owners of our own unit “Fairways Heartwood Mountain Cottage”. The memories are priceless & even though the oldest Grandkid is now living in Austria & exploring the world, when she comes home there is one place she wants to be. We would love for our guests to create memories of their own in this incredible part of our world. Many of you have already shared your memories with us, and after lock down we can’t wait for you to share many more.
