Khotso Lesotho Adventures has been offering horse riding in the Southern Drakensberg for well over a decade and making this most incredible activity accessible to all intrepid travellers visiting this beautiful mountain range. Sunset View Cottage Underberg is an exclusive, romantic couple’s getaway, with stunning panoramic views of the Southern Drakensberg and farm land.

The cottage is a fully equipped upmarket separate unit with one bedroom, open plan lounge / dining room / kitchen with stacking doors and wood burning fireplace. Outside in the private garden is a stone firepit where you can sit and relax and watch spectacular sunsets over the mountains, plus an outside braai for the stunning evenings under the dense stars.

The cottage is fully insulated and has double glazed windows for our cold winters. They have solar so there will be no interruptions to your holiday.

Situated close to all amenities but in a quiet rural setting just out of town.

One couple only. No children or pets allowed.

In the foothills of the southern Drakensberg lies Castleburn, a home to eland, reedbuck and 100 species of bird, who flock to the re-established wetlands. Spacious, thatched, architect-designed cottages, built of hand-hewn local stone, cluster around Lake Madingofani. Its shimmering surface reflects the rocky summits of the Garden Castle and is disturbed only by the breeze and the occasional trout jumping.

Splashy Fen Accommodation is a secluded property on Splashy Fen Farm, home to the famous music festival.

If you’re looking for peace and solitude with spectacular views of the Drakensberg mountains, lovely spots for swimming and tubing, fantastic hiking and birding, this is the place. The secluded thatched cottage sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, plus an additional 4 people on a mezzanine which has 3 further beds and a pull out mattress.

Splashy Fen Mtingu camp is a quirky and rustic cabin with 4 beds and a campsite located in a secluded area at the top of the festival site on Splashy Fen Farm. The area is self contained and fenced of with wattle saplings.
