With immediate affect.
This is extremely good news for visitors coming to Kosi Bay for the festive season 🔥

Adults – From R65-00 to R34-00 per person
Children (3-11years) – R23-00 per child
Vehicle – From R65-00 to R40-00

🔴Permits and Fee structure information:

🟦Where are permits obtained?
From Ezemvelo Kosi Bay Camp Reception and Manzengwenya / Coastal Forest offices.

🟦What is the purpose of permits?
To regulate the number of vehicles and people going to the beach.

🟦Where do you need permits and Permit Limits?
🔻Ezemvelo Kosi Bay Camp Gate at 3rd Lake where boats launch.
🔻Kosi Bay Mouth Beach - 16 Vehicles
🔻 Black Rock Beach - 12 Vehicles
🔻 Rock tail Bay Beach - 5 Vehicles
🔻 Island Rock Beach - 5 Vehicles
🔻 Lala Neck Beach - 5 Vehicles

❗️ Dog Point and Castle Rock Beach falls within a Sanctuary for Research purposes and may not be accessed either by vehicle or by foot.

🟦Permits are obtained at a first come first serve basis and can be purchased on the day or one day before.
🟦️It is advisable to be at the permit office early during peak season to avoid disappointment as there are a limit to vehicles permitted at the various beaches.

🔴Ezemvelo Parks Board office hours:
Opens at 8h00 and closes at 16h00. (Monday to Saturday).
7h00 to 15h00 on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Permits are valid between sunrise and sunset only i.e., 06h00 – 18h00
All entry gates and internal access control booms are closed and locked between 18h00 and 06h00.
Visitors are requested to leave in good time 17h00 to exit before the gates close.

🔴Boat Fees:
Boat registration – R90-00 (Valid for 1 year) R100.00
Boat Launching Fee – R25-00
Boat Storage – R25-00 per day (all trailers to be taken out)

🔴Boat Launching Requirements:
Valid Skippers Licences and Buoyancy Certificate
Fishing Licence can be obtained from any Post Office

🔴Night Time Fishing Permits:
Prior arrangement needs to be made at Ezemvelo Kosi Bay Camp Office
18h00 – 6h00 – R130 per person
18h00 – 22h00 R100-00 per person
