Sunsets on Lupin is a lovely beach house accommodating up to 11 people in the Blue Horizon Bay Conservancy, situated about 37 km from the heart of Port Elizabeth. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, a stove, an oven, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area open onto a deck with lovely views of the ocean and comprises the open plan kitchen and lounge area
. A TV with several DVD’s is available in the mezzanine area. A variety of board games for all ages are also available in the lounge area with a dart board in the enclosed braai area. The front deck overlooks the ocean, and a Weber braai is available. Guests are asked to only use charcoal with the Weber braai, due to the possible fire risk. An enclosed braai area for windy days and rainy nights leads out of the kitchen is also available. Pets can, unfortunately, not be accommodated. The house is accessed via stairs, it is not suitable for wheelchairs. Horizon Mini Market, The Prickly Pear pub and Beauty salon are conveniently located in the village with Bay West shopping mall 15 minutes drive away. Sunsets on Lupin is situated in a conservancy with a wide variety of indigenous antelope, reptiles, mammals and insects. Several hundred bird species have been identified, some of them seasonal migrants from the north. Binoculars are available in the lounge to spot the dolphins and seasonal whales that visit the shores of Blue Horizon Bay.
