Umhlanga Rocks. Magnificent!

The Full Moon rising over the beach in Umhlanga Rocks this evening.

I decided to head down to the Umhlanga Main Beach to see what I could capture.
It was such a lovely warm evening with a cool breeze blowing over the ocean, mixing the salt of the sea in with the humidity.
The ocean was calm as the waves went about their business below the warm glow of the rising moon.
Many people were out and about, enjoying the beautiful South African weather.

I took a few photos of the moon, but I decided to share this one of the moon just before it started moving in behind the clouds.
A wonderful way to end a beautiful Sunday...

The Luangwa valley black rhinos was once the home to some of the most majestic animals in all of Africa. This image was taken back in 1970, prior to the poaching wave that declared them extinct in 1998.
We are so proud to have thriving populations once more in North Luangwa National Park. This is why we continue to do what we do 🦏
