The Monaco Grand Prix is a Formula One motor race held annually on the Circuit de Monaco on the last weekend in May. Run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world, and is one of the races—along with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans—that form the Triple Crown of Motorsport. The circuit has been called “an exceptional location of glamour and prestige”.

The race is held on a narrow course laid out in the streets of Monaco, with many elevation changes and tight corners as well as a tunnel, making it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula One. In spite of the relatively low average speeds, the Monaco circuit is a dangerous place to race and often involves the intervention of a safety car.

For more than 15 months, the borders of Mauritius were partially closed. That’s 10950 hours. An eternity to us islanders. It’s 1.3 million people holding their breath, waiting for your return.

🇳🇱 ✈️The Netherlands has issued updated travel restrictions. South African travellers may now enter, as long as they are fully vaccinated.
Travellers must present a valid certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 with an approved vaccine to enter the country. They will then be exempt from the quarantine requirement. All vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency or the World Health Organization are accepted.

Thailand quarantine is being reduced to 7 nights if you are fully vaccinated (must he fully vaccinated for 2 weeks or more) and 10 nights if you are partially or unvaccinated.
Travelers flying from SA can still not enter Phuket or Samui directly without first doing quarantine in Bangkok/Pattaya/Sriratcha and please also note ONLY fully vaccinated people can enter Phuket/Samui/Krabi/Phi Phi even if you quarantine in Bangkok first (same goes for Thai people travelling domestically to these places)
