An impromptu tour into Addo Elephant National Park yesterday...... the sightings were not prolific at the waterholes due to the recent rains as a lot of water was lying in the lands, but always an enjoyable day out regardless. We also saw Secretary Birds & Jackal Buzzards but were too far for a decent photo.

Addo Secrets Safaris is gearing up to resume tours after a break due to moving from Port Elizabeth to Bushmans River/Kenton-on-Sea. This will be the new pickup point and guests from Port Elizabeth will be able to safely leave their vehicle at the Matyholweni Gate (Colchester entrance) and transfer to my luxury Toyota Fortuner.

We are very pleased to announce that as from 17th August we are once again open for business!! To get the ball rolling we are offering a 30% discount on our Addo Elephant Park Tour to our South African, Eastern Cape travellers until borders open. We collect guests in Port Elizabeth, Colchester or can also meet at the Matyholweni Gate. Pricing and details of the tour can be viewed on the webpage: www.debbiestours.co.za, and the discount will apply on booking. Please call or message me on 0767853026 to check availability. All safety protocols for Covid will apply, such as face masks & sanitising the vehicle between tours as per Government regulations. We will only carry 2 passengers on a private tour in our 4 x 4 vehicle. The picnic lunch unfortunately will fall away and will be replaced with a pre-packaged snackbox & bottled water/juice. Entrance fees to the park are included. We so look forward to touring again!

Amongst all the other offerings for guests visiting the Eastern Cape, we can certainly recommend this special outing at Bellevue for an afternoon. We were invited to join the group on the Giraffe Walk this week. We will be offering this activity to our basket shortly. See short video below..... Special thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Stephan and to Loodt and Charlene for a great welcome!
